Primary Class Teacher (Year 2) | Northolt

We are currently working with a lovely family feel primary school in Northolt who are looking for a primary teacher to start ASAP until at least the end of the school year. Following this there may be an opportunity to continue with the school into the next school year on a permanent basis.

Experienced Primary Teacher

Location: Northolt

Hours: 8:15AM - 3:30PM (Mon-Fri)

ASAP start

Next Steps: Trial day or interview next week

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the primary curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the school's educational programs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student performance and progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in KS1.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
