Higher Level Teaching Assistant | ASAP

Teach Plus are currently working with a large, vibrant, 4-form entry primary school located in Ealing who are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to cover classes from EYFS - KS2 ASAP.

The school is an 'Outstanding' primary school that is well supported by the parents and wider community.

Staff are dedicated to the quality of education and providing the highest standards of teaching and learning. With a well-established senior leadership team, teachers feel well supported and are offered lots of opportunities for career professional development and further training.

The role is a full-time, ongoing position to start ASAP.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:

  • Establish positive relationships with the pupils, parents, class teachers and other members of staff across the school
  • Deliver lessons to whole classes across the school, from EYFS - KS2
  • Support the class teacher with planning activities and resources for the classrooms
  • Be flexible and adaptable, as the timetable is likely to change on a daily basis to cover unexpected absences and sickness
  • Manage behaviour to the highest standard

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, covering classes from EYFS - KS2
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Effective behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Have aspirations to develop their career further, aspiring primary teachers are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
