An Ofsted outstanding primary school in Northolt are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join their team after the February half-term. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work across all year groups, from Early Years to Year 6, providing vital support in maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour in the absence of class teachers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes across EYFS to Year 6, ensuring effective learning and positive behaviour management.
  • Follow lesson plans set by the teacher and provide support to students as needed.
  • Ensure the classroom is a safe, engaging, and respectful environment for all pupils.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, using appropriate strategies to support a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth transitions and consistency in teaching and learning.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in a school or educational setting, ideally as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant.
  • Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to adapt to different age groups.
  • A flexible and proactive approach, able to respond to the needs of the school and students.
  • Excellent communication skills with both staff and students.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential for this role.
