Join Our Team as a SEN / Teaching Assistant!

Are you passionate about working with children with complex disabilities and Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Tezlom is currently recruiting SEN / Teaching Assistants to support schools in and around West London.

About the Role:

  • Work with young children in schools as a SEN /Teaching Assistant.
  • Assist with personal care and toileting requirements.
  • Support children with various needs such as children on oxygen, standing frames, walker, wheelchairs, etc.
  • Knowledge of children using eye-gazers is beneficial.
  • Provide support to students with additional needs and learning difficulties.
  • Assist with feeding during lunch and help children on and off school transport.
  • Work with children who are non-verbal, experience with sign language and PECS is an advantage.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with severe learning difficulties as a SEN/ Teaching Assistant.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate for working with children registered on the online update service or willing to process a new application.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Provide professional related references
  • Having a valid Driver’s Licence and your own car is an advantage.
