Your new firmA dynamic and growing accountancy firm with a reputation for delivering great client service and being innovative, are seeking to recruit an Accounts Senior for their Cheshire-based office. This firm provide comprehensive audit, tax, and advisory services to a diverse range of clients across various industries. They have an ambitious strategy and are on an exciting growth journey. As a result, their teams are expanding, and they're looking to further grow their team.

Your new roleAs an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for producing first draft financial statements for more complex assignments, identifying and appropriately clearing client queries. You will draft tax computations and attend client meetings, you will ensure any final adjustments are processed. Additionally, they will submit approved financial statements and statutory tax returns in accordance with the entity's needs. They will also provide coaching, training, and support to junior members of staff. Producing client management accounts, ensuring client needs and deadlines are met, and reviewing working papers from juniors will also be required.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated and a team player. Ideally, you will be fully or part-qualified with ACCA or ACA and have excellent communication skills. The desire and ability to develop and grow within a forward-thinking and supportive environment are essential. Excellent time management and a strong technical understanding of accounting and auditing standards are also required.
