Our client is a highly reputable $1.6B Global Company, specialising in developing, producing, and distributing a broad range of specialty Chemicals, Minerals & Niche Products for various markets.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to be based on site at their Cheshire based plant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a strong background in cost accounting, management accounts, and international finance.
As the Senior Management Accountant, your key responsibilities are:
- Prepare and oversee management accounts with a strong focus on cost accounting.
- Ensure full compliance with VAT regulations and statutory accounts.
- Work within a US GAAP/SOX-compliant environment, ensuring all reporting meets international standards.
- Manage accounting processes across multiple entities and international operations.
- Utilise Excel, Oracle, or SAP to drive financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.
As the Senior Management Accountant, you will have the following skills & experience:
- Must be CIMA qualified (UK).
- Ideally have experience in an accounting role from within a Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in cost accounting, VAT, statutory accounts, and management accounts.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP/SOX reporting standards.
- Exposure to multi-entity and international finance operations.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
