As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a meticulous and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team and support the efficient management of the accounts payable processes.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
- Prepare and process payment runs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies or queries.
- Maintain accurate supplier records, including payment terms and contact details.
- Assist with month-end procedures and ensure that all transactions are up to date for reporting.
- Handle payment queries and communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve issues.
- Support internal and external audits as needed.
- Assist with other ad-hoc finance tasks as required by the finance team.
Profile
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Good understanding of accounts payable processes and financial systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
