Our client is seeking to recruit an Analytical Scientist with experience in analytical techniques, particularly within a discovery-focused environment.

Qualification and Experience

BSc, MSc in Chemistry or relevant scientific discipline.

Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS techniques for analysing small molecules in preclinical samples.

Ability to perform routine LC-MS/MS equipment maintenance.

Knowledge of drug discovery/development analytical support (e.g., HILIC, chiral chromatography, bioanalytical method validation

Knowledge of DMPK/ADME assays in drug discovery.

Duties:

Optimise MS/MS compound and LC methods using automated tools for high-volume compounds.

Coordinate LC-MS/MS support for in vitro assays.

Troubleshoot, maintain systems, and prepare SOPs to support the quality system.

Provide laboratory support, including equipment calibration, validation, and related tasks.

Assist in developing new methods and improving analytical capabilities.

The Analytical Scientist will demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and efficiently manage multiple tasks. Themsuccessful candidate should be a team player with excellent computer literacy (particularly in Microsoft Office) and a quick learner of new techniques and processes.
