Microbiology Media Support TechnicianPermanentBased in NorthwichUp to £22,300 (35 hours per week)Working Monday to Friday 8-4 or 9-5We're currently recruiting for a Microbiology Media Support Technician to join our client's Microbiology team at their site based in Northwich on a Permanent basis. You'll play a key role in providing microbiological services to support the Microbiology team. No previous experience is required, just a passion for science and a willingness to learn.Based on location you must have access to your own transport and also live within a maximum of a 30 minute commute already.What You'll Do:• Prepare media and consumables for microbiological analysis• Operate autoclaves for sterilisation and waste management• Maintain water treatment systems and calibrate data loggers• Clean and sanitise lab equipment and designated areas• Manage stock levels for media and consumables• Maintain accurate records of lab activities• Follow all health, safety, and environmental proceduresWhat We're Looking For:• A-levels or equivalent (science subjects preferred). Candidates with a HNC / HND / BSc are also encouraged to apply• Strong communication and record-keeping skills• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)Why apply to this role?
