One of the UK’s largest Property Management companies, Residential Management Group, has an exciting opportunity for an Insight Analyst to join our Customer Experience team
Reporting to the User Experience Design Manager, this is a permanent, full-time hybrid role, based at our Northwich Office.
What is the role?
We are looking for an Insight Analyst to be a data expert who works to create reports, dashboards, and perform data analysis to help our teams make informed decisions and uncover valuable business insights. An Insight Analyst plays a crucial role in transforming raw/curated data into actionable information and supporting our business queries with data-driven answers. As an Insight Analyst, this person is responsible for analysing data, creating meaningful reports and interactive dashboards, and conducting in-depth data analyses to address critical business queries. They work closely with various teams to understand their data needs, provide data-driven solutions, and ensure that our data reporting and analysis processes are streamlined and accurate.
Accountabilities
- Data Reporting and Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain a variety of reports and interactive dashboards using data visualization tools to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical business metrics.
- Data Analysis and Querying: Utilize SQL and other analytical tools to perform in-depth data analysis, derive valuable insights, and answer business queries.
- Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate business questions into actionable data analysis.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and reliability by conducting thorough data validation and maintaining data integrity in reports and dashboards.
- Data Visualization and Presentation: Present complex data analysis in a clear and visually appealing manner, making it easy for stakeholders to understand and act upon insights.
- Insights Delivery and Interpretation: Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support business decision-making and strategy development.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline data reporting and analysis processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to foster effective collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
- Data Governance and Compliance: Adhere to data governance policies and ensure data privacy and security standards are maintained throughout the data analysis process.
What skills, experience and qualifications will help you to be a successful Insuight Analyst?
Essential
- 3+ years of experience as an Insight Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, focusing on data reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in querying databases using SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
- Experience reporting on Salesforce
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and data integrity in reports and dashboards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data analysis in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred
- Understanding of Project management and delivery methods and able to represent Data Office activities and needs within project forums.
- Understanding of Google’s BigQuery platform, especially Looker for building reports, dashboards and visualising analysis results.
