An exciting interim opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shared Services professional to lead on the planning and implementation of a Shared Service operation in a Public Sector organisation

My client is a Public Sector multi-site organisation

Description

This role is a 3 month interim opportunity (with potential to go permanent) to join an HR team that service a multi-site Public Sector operation. This role is a project-focused opportunity, working alongside the People Director and IT Director to establish the foundations of a shared service centre for the first time in the organisation. This is not an operational shared service opportunity, but a chance to project manage and oversee the establishment of this new operation.

The HR Shared Services Team will act as the first point of contact, and the team will be responsible for providing advice and guidance, signposting to the appropriate place in the case of more complex matters. This team process all transactional HR matters, including: recruitment, contracts management, HRIS maintenance, performance review cycles, training records and payroll.

Profile

This role requires an experienced Shared Services Manager who has ideally set up and implemented a new shared service operation, ideally in a Public Sector environment.

Candidates must be available ASAP and able work in Northwich
