The Company:

My client is an Electrical Systems integrator, they are currently recruiting for an experienced account manager with a strong commercial background and understanding of the mechanics of business.

  • They offer a complete Electrical, Instrument & PLC service covering:
  • Instrument/Electrical/System Design (AutoCad, ePlan etc.)
  • Control Panel manufacture (Motor Panels, PLC Panels, Pneumatic etc.)
  • Software Design PLC/SCADA & HMI (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Mitsubishi etc.)
  • Instrument/Electrical/Network installation (NICEIC approved, Safe Contractor, ATEX, CAT5/CAT6 fibre etc.)
  • Instrument test and calibration (Calibrations - flow, temp, level etc.)
  • Commissioning & Start-up support

The Role:

  • Looking after existing accounts with the view on expanding & growing the business.
  • Harvesting new business within the controls and automation industry.
  • Following up quotes and updating our bespoke CRM.
  • Harvesting opportunities.
  • Helping project managers with sales meetings & commercial decisions.
  • Working as a team player within the business development department.
  • Follow up on enquiries with potential new customers.
  • Liaise with operations managers for targeted growth.
  • Assist with marketing department on targeted campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Ideally suited for someone who has worked within the control and automation industry.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to act on own initiative.
  • Good general knowledge of the services they provide & sectors they operate in.
  • Proven sales growth.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Time served in an electrical or engineering role.
