Position: Sales Manager

We are looking for a sales Manager who can manage the dynamic Hire Department of the company. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to identify potential leads, drive revenue and growth, and expand the customer base throughout the country.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective lead generation strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align goals and enhance customer enquiries.
- Work with field-based sales team on planning site visits and schedule effective meetings with the customer.
- Develop and use CRJ’s CRM system to full potential to maximise communication and meet customer service expectations.
- Monitor team performance, analyse sales, and report on progress to Key Account and Hires Manager.
- Ensure the current Hire processes are managed and maintained to a high standard within the team, with a focus on protecting CRJ’s assets.
- Identify opportunities for training and professional development within the team.
- Acts in accordance with CRJ Company Values at all times: One Team: Customer First: Deliver the Best.
- Follows and promotes CRJ’s Health &Safety Standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a business development, sales or account management role.
- Strong management skills with at least 2-3 years’ experience in driving team performance.
- Experience within the plant hire, large machinery or waste/recycling sectors.
- Ability to analyse data and develop strategic sales plans.
- IT Skills including excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A full UK driving licence.
