Role Overview:

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our nursery. You will assist in creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for children, helping them to explore, learn, and grow. This position is perfect for someone who loves working with children and is eager to contribute to their development in a positive and engaging way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and educational programs
  • Support the daily routine of the nursery, including snack times, nap times, and outdoor play
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Observe and report on the individual progress and needs of the children
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with young children is preferred
  • Relevant childcare qualifications or working towards one (e.g, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare)
  • A genuine passion for working with children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
