A housing association based in Manchester are seeking a Damp and Mould Surveyor to support them in identifying and addressing damp and mould issues across their property portfolio.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, health, and comfort of our tenants.
Initially a 3 month contract with a possibility to go temp to perm.
Responsibilities include:- Conduct detailed surveys and assessments to identify damp and mould issues.
- Provide actionable recommendations for remediation and prevention.
- Work closely with the property maintenance and repairs teams to ensure timely and effective solutions.
- Deliver comprehensive reports, including photographic evidence and proposed works, to support decision-making.
- Engage with tenants to address concerns and provide advice on minimising damp and mould.
The role requires an surveyor with at least 2 years of experience of working within social housing.
Rates are starting from £30+ per hour.
