You will be working for a machine shop with an extensive operation supplying UK and European customers high precision machined parts & components. Their efficient processes allow for a relaxed working environment with no micromanagement! If you like to get your head down then this environment will allow autonomous working if that's what you are looking for. It is a friendly atmosphere, with support offered from experienced machinists if you want this!
The position;
The business are looking for both a 3 & 5 axis CNC Miller. Support and guidance will be on offer for the 3 axis role and they are looking for a more experienced 5 axis machinist to hit the ground running. The 3 axis machinist role is looking to offer a rate of between 13-15 per hour, and the 5 axis position would offer between 17-20ph. Did I mention there is a huge amount of overtime available, paid at X1.5 on Saturdays and X2 on Sundays?
What we need from you;
- Previous CNC setting / operating experience on 3, 4 or 5 axis machines
- Machined metallics within a previous position
- Understanding of hand measurement quality tools
