The organisation supports strategic nuclear initiatives in the UK and internationally, with operations spanning Europe, North America, Asia, and beyond. As part of the Decommissioning and Dismantling (D&D) team, the role offers the chance to deliver cutting-edge engineering solutions to complex decommissioning challenges worldwide.

Role Overview and ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager will oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring objectives for time, cost, and quality are met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of projects of varying complexity and value.
  • Overseeing financial performance and risk management for each project.
  • Engaging and supporting customer and stakeholder groups through reviews and progress updates.
  • Leading negotiations with customers, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Driving efficiency and implementing best practices while aligning with local processes.
  • Proactively identifying risks to project baselines and implementing mitigation strategies.

Challenges and ContextThe role requires collaboration across multiple sites, involving periodic travel based on project demands.
