Risk & Compliance Manager | Insurance Broker | North-west England | £55 - 65,000 (doe)

Finitas are delighted to be partnering with a growing insurance broker in their search for a Risk & Compliance Manager to join their Retail insurance team. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing and embedding controls.
  • Ensure the effective and robust operation of the risk management framework and report any risk events and near misses.
  • Regularly review Customer Experience MI.
  • Drive improvement across file audit completion and pass rates, complaints outcomes, AR oversight, regulatory breaches. Ensure root cause and trend analysis is performed.
  • Build effective relationships with both internal and external businesses - you will be working closely with senior management.
  • Assist with the implementation of regulatory changes.
  • Support with the implementation and embedding of actions from Compliance Monitoring reviews, Internal Audits and Insurer audits.
  • Manage the submission of all regulatory returns and internal Group regulatory reporting.

Experience required:

  • Minimum 3 years risk and compliance experience.
  • Must have experience of working in an insurance broking company.
  • Strong regulatory knowledge of the FCA handbook.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships at various levels including senior stakeholders.
  • Must have a full driving licence as there will be some travel with this role - 2/3 times a week (which is expensed)

Please note that this role is remote but the travel with this role will be based around your home location - ideally North West England based.
