OverviewMy client is a multi-discipline engineering group who are continuing to grow organically and through acquisition. Due to their continued growth and securing high profile contracts they have an opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join their team who specialise the the water industry. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in managing projects from inception to completion. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project plans, coordinating resources, and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Duties include Project Management of contracts, some of which included CDM regulations. Project purchasing, logistics, documentation and design. Managing a team of engineers and sub-contractors to ensure that the output of the company's projects are designed, built, installed, and supported to specification and in accordance with Health & Safety, ISO9001 procedures, IEE (BS7671) Regulations and NICEIC certification. Site installation and commissioning of control & instrumentation systems across the UK.

Day to day duties will include:

路 Undertaking site surveys, client liaison and quotations.

路 Creating Risk Assessments and Method Statements RAMS

路 Delivering site projects throughout the UK.

路 Management of planned service visits for multiple service contracts

路 Undertaking commissioning of package plant systems

路 Carrying out the installation and Maintenance of the Company鈥檚 package plant products.

路 Build and maintain good working relationships with clients, subcontractors & suppliers.

路Foster a collaborative environment by providing leadership and guidance to team members.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management within a related sector and electrical qualifications
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability in cost control and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
