About the Role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping equipment running at peak performance. You'll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a range of material handling equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency. You'll also provide technical advice and detailed reports while building strong relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems
- Perform regular inspections and servicing to prevent equipment downtime
- Accurately record service and repair work in reports and company systems
- Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring the best solutions are delivered
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
- Strong expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems
- A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Commitment to health & safety protocols
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- A team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues and clients
