What you will need

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Comprehensive post-qualification expertise in industrial electrical infrastructure, including design and commissioning, with hands-on experience in HV, MV, and LV systems, embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, HV and LV switchgear, substations, and coordination with UK DNOs.
  • Skilled at effectively and professionally engaging with external and internal clients, attending meetings, and delivering high-quality technical reports and models.
  • Prior experience with Dig SILENT and other electrical engineering software.
  • Proficient in conducting feasibility studies, power system studies, and design reviews.
  • Excellent understanding of health, safety, and welfare in engineering.
  • Experience of witnessing both site and factory acceptance testing.
  • Ability to assess manufactured or fabricated items for faults.
  • Capable of providing site-based construction monitoring.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a broader engineering team and operate autonomously when required.
