Group Finance Analyst
Based: Northwich
Salary: up to £70k + benefits including enhanced pension
Our client is a leading, global manufacturing business that has experienced growth since their inception over 50 years ago. Now present in 20 countries globally, they service markets across the UK, EMEA, APAC and America. Due to growth, the business has established a group finance function based in the UK over the last 2 years where the team can drive value for operational businesses globally.
This is a truly unique role, offering the opportunity to work with a fantastic CFO and Head of FP&A in a newly created role. There will be an opportunity for future progression in a more senior role in future whilst also whilst gaining valuable international exposure and heightened experience in finance transformation and systems implementation with the chance to be involved in shaping and influencing the continued expansion of the group finance function.
Role:
- Project lead on the implementation of new consolidation tools ensuring it meetgs consolidation and reporting needs for the business
- Business partnering across all business units/areas, working with Managers to ensure smooth transition co-ordinating with all cross-functional teams
- Providing finance support to other group projects including new CRM tool, S&OP tool, expenses tool
- Providing financial analysis at group level to support decision making for senior management
- Supporting Head of FP&A providing insightful variance analysis identifying key drivers of performance deviations and recommending actions
- Automating and providing support to preparation of board pack and financial update
- Standardising reporting templates and processes across the business to improve consistency in financial planning
- Using data and predictive models to forecast potential future pricing trends and impact on company financials
- Supporting Group Financial controller with day to day accounting activities including month end and forecasting
- Supporting Head of Group Internal Audit as part of the global audit programme if required
- Working with procurement providing analysis and insight
Experience:
- Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Experience in projects/system implementations highly desirable
- Hands on with a desire to learn, develop & grow within the business
- Strong business partner and communicator at all levels
- Consolidation experience highly desirable (consolidation tool use beneficial)
