A fantastic permanent opportunity for a full time Finance Business Partner/Finance Manager position based in Handforth with hybrid home working and flexible hours

Description

Duties include:

  • Review all aspects of management accounts- both forward-looking and retrospective.
  • Maintain a management accounts reporting model with relevant updates, such as the rollover of the financial year and code mapping.
  • Produce monthly accounts in a timely manner, providing clear and relevant analysis and narrative.
  • Support the FD in preparing the annual budget and recurring re-forecasting processes.
  • Manage the income reconciliation process, developing and maintaining a robust system to ensure all income recognised in the financial statements is received.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide accounting team members to foster a high-performing team.
  • Deputise for the Finance Director when required.
  • Oversee Risk Management and Compliance responsibilities, including preparing and submitting VAT returns to HMRC, filing regular reports to the FCA, and reviewing monthly payroll prepared by the People department.
  • Oversee the annual audit process to ensure efficient execution, maintaining clear communication and regular updates with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Develop and oversee financial systems and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Profile

The successful candidate MUST:

  • Have experience in a similar role - Essential
  • be experience in financial modelling and FP&A Analysis - Essential
  • Have experience in the financial service sector - Desirable
  • Be confident using MS Excel daily - Essential
  • Have excellent communication with a strong attention to detail - Essential
