Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation based in South Cheshire who are seeking to appoint an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

Based in Cheshire you will work a hybrid model, 3 days a week in the office and 2 days from home.This opportunity is ideal for a self-starting finance professional looking for a leadership role within a dynamic finance team.

Salary/Benefits:
  • Circa £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
  • Hybrid working available (3 days in the office per week in Cheshire)

Job Duties:
  • Lead and manage junior finance team members.
  • Liaise with Group Finance on reporting, tax, and accounting requirements.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, including payment approvals and invoice resolution.
  • Act as a key contact for interim and annual audits.
  • Provide weekly/monthly P&L reviews and challenge financial performance.
  • Assist the Financial Controller with month-end reporting.
  • Support cashflow management and production.
  • Manage capital assets and IFRS16 leases, maintaining a compliant asset register.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in financial statement preparation and regulatory compliance.

Ideal Experience:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills with knowledge of PowerPoint/Word.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • A team player with strong communication skills to engage across all levels.
