a Local Authority in the North West who are looking to appoint a skilled Finance Manager on an Interim basis are working with Spencer Clarke Group to find their next successful candidate.

  • Rate of Pay: £450 - £600 per day, inside IR35.

About the role:

The purpose of the role is to provide business partnering support to our Education and Inclusion service as well as our teams providing budget support to schools.

Based in the North West (Hybrid):

Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the lead finance service point of contact supporting special projects to ensure the Council's interests are safeguarded and benefits are realized.
  2. To manage a team of staff responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality advice, information, analysis and interpretation to budget holders

About you:You will have the following experience:

  • CCAB Qualification or equivalent.
  • Ability to lead transformation activity and manage organisational change
  • In depth experience in a relevant local government role.
