Our client - an exciting professional services business based in Cheshire are seeking a experienced Finance Manager who can support the Group FD in changing the landscape of the finance function to introduce a culture of business partnering and further develop FP&A reporting throughout the business. More widely your key responsibilities will be as follows: Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Director in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Deputise for the Finance Director when required.
  • Develop and oversee financial systems and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Manage and update the management accounts reporting model.
  • Support the Management Accountant in producing monthly management accounts with clear analysis and narrative.
  • Oversee risk management, compliance, and regulatory reporting, including VAT returns, and payroll reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
  • Manage the annual audit process, liaising with stakeholders for a smooth execution.
