Axon Moore is delighted to partner with a well-established organisation based in Cheshire in their search for an ambitious qualified Group Finance Manager who is, eager to grow and develop under the guidance of a high calibre FD.The successful candidate will manage core finance functions, including internal controls, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, audits, and analysis. This role offers extensive cross-departmental exposure, requiring strong commercial and communication skills. With a clear pathway for progression to Financial Controller, this position presents a fantastic opportunity for career advancement!! Responsibilities
  • Maintain financial controls per company and statutory requirements.
  • Lead the UK audit, serving as the main contact for auditors.
  • Analyse company results, costs, and data.
  • Prepare annual budgets and ongoing forecasts.
  • Coordinate the month-end process.
  • Create financial models, focusing on storage sales opportunities.
  • Manage and improve finance and business processes.
  • Support cash flow, pension, and tax compliance.
  • Develop team members to meet business and personal goals.
The Candidate:
  • Would suit first-time movers from an audit / practice background ACA
  • ACCA or CIMA Candidates
  • Group Company/US financial accounting/reporting experience
  • Statutory financial reporting experience
  • Proactive, engaging & ambitious personality
