Axon Moore is delighted to partner with a well-established organisation based in Cheshire in their search for an ambitious qualified Group Finance Manager who is, eager to grow and develop under the guidance of a high calibre FD.The successful candidate will manage core finance functions, including internal controls, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, audits, and analysis. This role offers extensive cross-departmental exposure, requiring strong commercial and communication skills. With a clear pathway for progression to Financial Controller, this position presents a fantastic opportunity for career advancement!! Responsibilities

Maintain financial controls per company and statutory requirements.
Lead the UK audit, serving as the main contact for auditors.
Analyse company results, costs, and data.
Prepare annual budgets and ongoing forecasts.
Coordinate the month-end process.
Create financial models, focusing on storage sales opportunities.
Manage and improve finance and business processes.
Support cash flow, pension, and tax compliance.
Develop team members to meet business and personal goals.

The Candidate:

Would suit first-time movers from an audit / practice background ACA
ACCA or CIMA Candidates
Group Company/US financial accounting/reporting experience
Statutory financial reporting experience
Proactive, engaging & ambitious personality
