We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join a well-established financial planning firm in Northwich. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Advisors in a firm known for its client-focused approach and commitment to professional development. Our client, a respected Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) firm, is seeking a motivated individual to support their growing team, offering hybrid working, career progression, and a competitive benefits package.

About the Company

Our client is a client-focused financial planning firm with 10 staff, managing approximately £300M in Funds Under Management (FUM) across 700 valued clients. They specialize in Pensions and Investments, providing high-quality advice and planning services to individuals and businesses alike.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting Advisors, preparing reports, conducting research, and helping to formulate financial plans. You will have the opportunity to sit in on client meetings and, over time, contribute to recommendations based on findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Advisors to provide high-quality financial planning support.

  • Prepare suitability reports and financial planning documentation.

  • Conduct research and analysis on investment and pension products.

  • Utilize Dynamic Planner software and cash flow modelling tools.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development with opportunities for career progression.

What We’re Looking For
  • Ideally Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards).

  • Consideration given to experienced but unqualified candidates or strong trainees.

  • Previous experience in Paraplanning or Financial Planning support roles.

  • Experience with Dynamic Planner and cash flow modelling is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
