As anInternal Sales Engineer, youll perform the same duties as an external sales engineer but work virtually with end customers rather than face-to-face. This role involves business development, account management, and product demonstrations, all from the comfort of the office. Youll be the go-to expert, driving customer success while expanding the client base and promoting innovative solutions.
What you'll be doing:
- Take full responsibility for the turnover and results of your assigned customers, nurturing and expanding the current client base.
- Meet proactive contact targets through telephone sales calls and virtual meetings via Teams.
- Promote new products and solutions while arranging product presentations for clients over Teams.
- Handle incoming inquiries, define customer requirements, and uncover cross-selling opportunities.
- Provide technical advice and consulting to customers on application solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on individual proposals and quotations, ensuring successful sales closure.
What were looking for:
- A degree in electrical engineering, STEM, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in sales or engineering, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to get things done.
- A passion for automation and curiosity about the technical workings of products.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.
- Based within commuting distance of Northwich, Cheshire, and eligible to work in the UK.
Work Schedule:Previously, a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home was offered. We are awaiting confirmation on the current work arrangement.
