Server Build Engineer

Windows Server build engineer required for a prestigious client based in Cheshire.

Engagement is via umbrella company.

Attendance on site 2 days per week.

The successful candidate will have Windows Server internals level knowledge of all versions, preferably including Windows Server 2022 and Active Directory.

Skills & experience required:

  • Windows Server 2022
  • PowerShell scripting - Functional level programming which may interact with Windows Server core cmdlets - Automated process to create users, Disk RAID setup, Partitioning, configuring Network - DHCP, NIC, RDP & File share access, Package installation etc
  • Physical Server Building and Deployment process using HPE / Dell using ILO/IDRAC
  • Knowledge to create automated ISO's using Microsoft Deployment Tool (MDT)
  • DevOps CI/CD experience (GitLab) preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills essential
