Workshop Labourer

The Best Connection Group Limited are currently recruiting for aWorkshop Assistantwho is committed and hard working to join our client inNorthwichon an on-going basis.

Please note that this is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and you must have held a UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• An external FLT licence is preferable but not essential
• Loading and unloading materials and parts on thelaser and water jet cutting machines
• Assisting theengineers and machine operators (Laser Cutting Machine & Press brakes)
• Packing goods ready for delivery tocustomers
• Delivering and collecting goods to and fromsuppliers
• Ensuringmaterials are stored in a tidy and organised manner

Key Skills Required:

• Physically fit, this is a manual job that involves lifting
• Be confident and able to thrive in a demanding environment
• Have strong communication skills
• Be very motivated, eager to learn and develop quickly
• Be reliable and a good timekeeper
• Be organised and able to prioritise workloads
• Be able to work with and without instruction
• Be thorough, tidy and a methodical worker who demonstrates close attention to detail
• Capable of meeting strict deadlines
• Have a full clean driving licence

Experience of working in a workshop or industrial environment is a must.

Salary:£12.58per hour.

Hours:Monday Thursday08:00am - 16:30pm

Friday 8:00am - 15:30pm(also working the occasional Saturday when needed)
