The Recruitment Co are recruiting for Forestry Workers to join our client based in Northwich Cheshire.We're hiring for Forestry Workers in NorthwichPay Rate:£11.44 per hour + performance bonus schemeOvertime during the week £ 15.12 per hourOvertime during the weekend £20.16 per hourAbout the Plant Nursery Role:The work at the nurseries involves field-based open nursery operations and polyhouse nursery operations, for the growing, tending, processing and supply of bare root and container grown forest transplants.Examples:

  • Tree picker ( following behind the tractor collecting tree's)
  • Grading and pulling of plants
  • Sorting through small trees for quality and size
  • Packing in to sacks
  • lifting plants
  • grading plants
  • packing plants
  • chemical (gazelle) treatment
  • lining out seedlings and rooted cuttings
  • taking cuttings and hand weeding
  • Cutting down trees
  • Heavy Lifting
