Machine Learning Engineer / AI Engineer Position
I am currently recruiting for a dynamic and innovative health tech start up company, revolutionising the health care industry with a groundbreaking multi-modal model. Committed to improving patient outcomes and transforming health care, this business are seeking a talented Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join their existing team and drive their language initiatives to new heights.
As the Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their multi-modal model and spearheading its development from inception to deployment. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of AI & improving current health care systems.
The responsibilities for the role are:* Lead the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms for our multi-modal model, with a focus on improving accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.* Architect and build robust, scalable, and production-ready machine learning pipelines from the ground up.* Drive the deployment of machine learning models into production environments and ensure smooth integration with existing systems.* Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.* Build a machine learning team that will have a wide range of responsibilities on top of this initial project.
Required experience for this role:* Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.* Experience as a machine learning engineer, with a strong track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in real-world applications.* Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and best practices, with a focus on large language models.* Strong Knowledge of Python and multiple libraries.* Proven experience setting up a team and building out foundational LLMs.
This position is offering a salary of up to £85,000 per annum and will be on a hybrid working schedule, with modern offices based out of Cheshire.
