Our Life and Pensions client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to who will be responsible for leading finance workstreams to achieve the clients Group Strategy. The Senior PM will have verall responsibility for planning and leading the delivery of the entire finance change lifecycle for projects, covering both business and technical-driven changes. You will ensure that business outcomes are clearly understood and that associated solutions are delivered to enable the business to realise benefits on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex finance change initiatives, spanning multiple lines of business and other projects.
  • Link financial or actuarial system changes to upstream projects.
  • Support Finance in planning and shaping solutions.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and issues that may arise during change projects and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, providing regular updates to key stakeholders and senior management.

About You:

  • Experience working in projects covering changes to finance systems and change with the ability to understand technical actuarial and financial jargon.
  • Experienced in release management and the ability to build plans around the six-monthly actuarial release plan.
  • Experience in finance data migration is desirable to support multiple migration projects across the organization.
  • Highly competent in using planning tools and experienced in implementing and operating financial control frameworks.
  • Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment.
  • Life and Pensions experience is desirable but not essential.
