Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a capable Senior Childcare Lawyer to join a well-respected local authority based in the North West on a locum basis.

The Childcare Solicitor role will be for 3 - 6-months, with a possibility of to extend. As Childcare Lawyer you will be confident in carrying your own caseload of care proceedings, and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Handing a full caseload of childcare matters, providing advice on all aspects of public law children's matters
  • Attending PLO and legal planning meetings
  • Drafting documents, including statements and threshold agreements
  • Advocacy

The role can offer flexible working arrangements although full-time availability is desirable. In person court attendnace is required approximately once a week.

Our client is open to considering applications from candidates from both public and private sector backgrounds if relevant public childcare experience is demonstrated.
