Change and Transformation Audit Manager

Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a permanent Change and Transformation

Audit Manager for a leading reputable, instantly recognisable, profitable and long established financial services organisation based in Greater Manchester.

This unique opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion and is a pivotal high-profile role that will be responsible for working with senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider business. You will be responsible for delivering robust and independent assurance, contributing to the development of the audit plan and leading stakeholder engagement with senior leaders. You will oversee the audit for change, transformation and implementation projects across the business assessing and testing controls, providing assurance and making suitable recommendations for improvement where necessary.

You will be provided with a supportive, collaborative, and open environment to think creatively. A key component of this role is building trusted and meaningful relationships with key stakeholders. You will provide credible insights and challenge, drawing on your business knowledge. Your role has the option to include attending leadership committees focusing on identifying and mitigating strategic, operational, financial and compliance risks.

The successful individual will be able to marry tactical delivery with the company's strategic vision and will establish credible, inspirational leadership for the team, as well as the varied and complex stakeholder management at a time of an exciting transformational journey.

You will be a qualified Auditor / Manager (CISA / ACA / ACCA) making your first move from a professional practice firm or coming from a similar role and ideally who has Financial Services experience. An in depth understanding of the principles of effective project management and having technology or project management experience would be desirable i.e. Prince 2, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC or ISO 27001.

You need great influencing and presentation skills coupled with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels across the business.

You will have had extensive knowledge and experience of performing some of the following:-helping clients to implement change, working on sizable projects / programs, general controls reviews, service management, delivery and support reviews, governance, planning and organisation reviews, application and development audits, change audits - we are not just looking for an senior internal auditor!

You need to have strong commercial acumen and the ability to critically review work to identify potential issues, weaknesses, errors and omissions.
