Are you a driven and experienced EC&I Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are working with a leading advanced manufacturer in Northwich that is renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to sustainability. They are seeking an EC&I Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of their cutting-edge production operations.

The Role


In this hands-on leadership role, you will head a talented EC&I team responsible for maintaining, designing, and optimising key systems within a high-tech manufacturing facility. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement control technologies that enhance efficiency, support safety, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities


- Lead and develop the EC&I team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance.
- Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of EC&I equipment and systems.
- Plan, budget, and execute electrical, control, and instrumentation projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including HSE and ATEX.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate across teams to align EC&I systems with production goals.
- Maintain EC&I documentation, procedures, and standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile


- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in an EC&I role within a manufacturing or industrial setting; experience in the chemical industry is a plus.
- Expertise in electrical, control, and instrumentation systems with a strong safety and regulatory compliance focus.
- Familiarity with ATEX, DSEAR, HAZOP, and SIL standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a high-performing team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
