We are seeking a dedicated Senior Learning Support to join our client's SEND team. This role is critical in ensuring that learners with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) receive the tailored support they need to succeed. You will be instrumental in driving the SEND strategy and providing guidance and coaching to colleagues to deliver exceptional support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee EHCP provision, ensuring learners receive the necessary support to progress and achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement the SEND strategy in collaboration with the wider team.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislation and best practices related to SEND, including the SEND Code of Practice, Equality Act 2010, and Keeping Children Safe in Education.
  • Maintain accurate and transparent records for EHCP learners.
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to staff to support learners with SEND.
  • Lead on transition planning for learners with EHCPs, working with Delivery Managers, Learning Coaches, parents/carers, and local authorities to meet statutory obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes for learners.

You are an organized, driven, and passionate individual with a strong commitment to supporting learners with SEND. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are skilled at balancing multiple priorities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting learners with EHCPs.
  • A SEND qualification (or a willingness to work towards one).
  • Experience working with internal and external agencies to deliver and evaluate EHCP provision.
  • Administrative experience with excellent attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • A teaching qualification.
