Your new companyYou will join a meaningful organisation with a clear vision and established industry presence. The in-house legal department has expanded over the last 12 months and there is now an excellent opportunity to join a busy team as a commercial paralegal where you will develop your contracts review experience and business-facing skills by working closely with internal clients and stakeholders.

Your new roleYou will be responsible for reviewing commercial agreements, identifying risks, providing contracts advice to the business and addressing any queries or concerns, under the supervision of a qualified solicitor. You will work in a varied role, supporting on a range of legal matters, mainly focused on construction and engineering contracts, including high-value tender documents and you will play a key role in terms of project delivery.What you'll need to succeedYou will need to have completed either a law degree or GDL to a high standard and have good quality commercial contracts experience, either from private practice or with a high calibre in-house legal team. You will ideally have a strong foundation in dealing with construction or engineering contracts, JCT and NEC experience would be a strong advantage, other manufacturing or design related commercial contracts experience will also be considered. You will be proactive and organised with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. This is an excellent opportunity for LPC students/graduates or SQE students looking to gain high-quality commercial contracts experience; this role could also suit a future trainee who is available for work until March 2026 ahead of starting their training contract.
