Fleet Manager

£40,000 - £50,000 per Annum + Benefits
Our client is an established and growing business looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Fleet Manager to join their team. The role is on site 5 days a week and will report to the Senior Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
- Optimisation of fleet including vehicle availability and efficiency
- Ownership of fleet maintenance including vehicle servicing & MOTs
- Utilise fleet telematics and use related data to suggest improvements
- Take lead on vehicle procurement and de-fleeting where needed
- Ensure vehicle compliance in line with legislation
- Liaise with vehicle manufacturers
- Co-ordinate with partner workshops efficiently
- Generate and share fleet data and reports to wider leadership team
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve fleet performance
- Positively contribute to company ESG strategy
Skills
- Proven experience of working as a fleet manager, ideally with fleet sizes 70+ with national coverage
- Experience of using Fleet Telematics and various Transport Management Systems
- Demonstrable experience of improving fleet performance including: driver performance, MPG and fleet utilisation
- Compliance focus with strong attention to detail
- Stakeholder management with ability to influence at all levels
- Commercially savvy
