With recent investment and increasing demand, they're now looking for an Operations Director to help drive operational excellence, scale responsibly, and support the next phase of growth.

Description

  • Lead all site operations, including production, planning, quality, technical, logistics, and H&S

  • Ensure full compliance with ISO, BRC, and customer audit standards

  • Oversee the technical and quality teams, ensuring robust systems and continuous improvement

  • Own site-level health & safety, championing best practice and holding NEBOSH accountability

  • Work cross-functionally to embed and expand the business's sustainability strategy, aligning with B Corp goals

  • Identify and deliver operational efficiency's, automation, and capability improvements to support scale-up

  • Foster a positive, values-led culture with a strong emphasis on leadership, coaching and team development

  • Partner with commercial and NPD teams to ensure operations can meet future product and volume demands

  • Represent the business with key external stakeholders, including auditors, retailers and partners

Profile

  • Proven track record in SME manufacturing environments - ideally in food, drink, or personal care sectors

  • Experience operating at senior leadership/Director level in a scaling or fast-growing organisation

  • Strong working knowledge of ISO, BRC, and customer audit requirements - must be audit-ready

  • Background in leading or managing technical / quality teams

  • A qualified NEBOSH holder with a strong H&S track record

  • Passion for sustainability with a track record of delivering meaningful ESG initiatives

  • Collaborative, hands-on leader who thrives in an agile, entrepreneurial setting

  • Alignment with B Corp values - people-focused, purpose-led, and forward-thinking

  • Based in the North West England
