About the Role:Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality control in steel fabrication and construction? We're looking for a Project Quality Supervisor to join a dynamic client for a 12-month contract. This hybrid role offers the perfect balance of on-site and remote work, ensuring you stay connected while enjoying flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control Planning:Develop and implement quality control plans; align standards with industry norms (ISO, ASTM); identify and mitigate risks.
- Inspection and Testing:Conduct inspections; ensure adherence to specifications; coordinate and perform tests (welding, coating, structural integrity); verify material certification.
- Documentation and Reporting:Maintain inspection records; prepare quality reports; ensure accurate documentation.
- Continuous Improvement:Promote efficiency and quality initiatives; recommend process improvements.
- Project Lifecycle Involvement:Participate in planning meetings; monitor quality from design to construction.
- Technical Knowledge:Understand steel fabrication, welding, and construction techniques; familiar with ISO 9001.
- Attention to Detail:Identify and address quality issues.
- Problem-Solving Skills:Identify root causes and propose solutions.
- Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication for reporting and collaboration.
