We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lead / Senior Quantity Surveyor who has multi-utility experience to join the commercial team working out of the Northwich office with hybrid working arrangements. This is a great opportunity to join us at an exciting time!
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR A SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR:
- Commercial delivery of NEC 3/4 option contracts
- Drafting of commercial correspondence within response periods
- Delivery of risk and opportunities register
- Change control and management
- Valuation and validation of compensation events process
- Monthly payment valuations and final account assessment
- Stakeholder management
- Attendance at all relevant meetings
- Contract preparation
- Appreciation of project budgets and spend
- Cost estimating and planning
- Mentoring of junior Quantity Surveyors
ROLE REQUIREMENTS FOR A SENIOR QUANTITY SURVYEOR:
- 5+ years experience in a Senior role as a QS or Commercial Lead.
- Degree qualified
- Have a strong technical QS background; ability to prioritise.
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a high level and proven track record of delivering to agreed timescales.
