Finance Assistant

Job Purpose

To assist the Finance Supervisor in managing key finance operations and administrative duties.

Key Activities

Credit Control

  • Manage credit control for centrally billed customers for member companies.
  • Resolve returns and queries by liaising with customers and members.
  • Send statements, EDI reports, and PODs.
  • Generate and distribute month-end reports.

Accounts

  • Code and process invoices/expenses in the purchase ledger.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Input self-billing invoices (manufacturer rebates).
  • Raise recharge invoices to group companies.

Administration

  • Manage reception duties, including handling post and courier deliveries.
  • Oversee Boardroom bookings, receive visitors, and provide refreshments.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to managers.
  • Monitor courier deliveries for members and assist with claims for late deliveries.

Other

  • Undertake ad hoc duties as required.
