Biology Teacher (Maternity Cover) - NorthwichWith AWR from Day 1
Randstad Education is working with an OFSTED-rated Good school in Northwich that requires a Biology Teacher for maternity cover, starting in February 2025 and potentially lasting until Christmas.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a diverse secondary school committed to delivering high-quality education and supporting students in achieving their full potential.
Your Role:- Deliver engaging and inspiring Biology lessons
- Monitor and record student progress, providing tailored support
- Create a positive and well-organized learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
- Plan and deliver lessons that cater to all student abilities
- Attend meetings, parent evenings, and training sessions as required
- A relevant undergraduate degree
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs welcome to apply
- A passion for teaching and strong subject knowledge
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to student progress and development
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and full referencing process
