NonStop Care is currently working with a reputable local authority, who are seeking Interim Social Workers to join our Child Protection & Court Proceedings Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly skilled and experienced team, supporting children and families through the Pre-Proceedings and Care Proceedings processes. We are looking for an experienced social worker to cover current vacancies, helping us maintain the high standards of service we provide.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with children and families in child protection cases, including pre-proceedings and care proceedings.
  • Manage a caseload of complex child protection cases, providing high-quality assessments and interventions in line with Cheshire West's expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies to develop and implement child-focused care plans.
  • Attend court hearings and present evidence as required, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children we serve.
  • Ensure that all case work is carried out in line with Social Work England standards and relevant legislation.

You will work alongside a skilled team of experienced social workers and permanent team managers who provide excellent supervision and support. We ensure manageable caseloads to help you focus on delivering high-quality work and achieving the best outcomes for children and families.
