They are looking to add capacity to the team with the support of an Assistant Headteacher responsible for SEND. Their aim is to transform the lives of vulnerable students with an ambitious curriculum allowing them to thrive in situations where they have experienced barriers educationally.

Shaping a progressive SEND provision, this role is integral to our mission to reengage students through a personalized curriculum, allowing them to achieve their full potential.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SEND team, ensuring effective provision for all students with additional needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align SEND strategies with the school’s vision.
  • Enhance adaptive teaching practices across the curriculum.
  • Monitor and analyse student progress to improve SEND outcomes.
  • Build partnerships with parents, external agencies, and the community to support student development.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status and SENDCO qualification.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership, with expertise in SEND.
  • Strong knowledge of current best practices in special education.
  • Ability to inspire, lead, and manage staff to foster a collaborative environment.
