Job Description:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to students with diverse special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the class teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students
- Collaborating with the teaching team and external professionals
- Supporting students with their academic, social, and emotional development
- Contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role
- A genuine interest in working with students with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Willingness to work collaboratively with the teaching team
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week.
Salary:
The salary for this role is £85 - £95 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
