We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to support children and young people aged 4-19 with complex autism, learning difficulties, and behaviours that challenge. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored speech, language, and communication support to pupils, both one-on-one and in groups.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and multidisciplinary colleagues to plan, monitor, and adapt support strategies.
  • Deliver specialized therapy that promotes communication development and improves outcomes for children with SEND.
  • Empower and guide staff with expert advice to integrate communication support into daily learning activities.
Requirements:
  • HCPC Registered Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Knowledge and experience equivalent to Agenda for Change upper Band 5/6.
  • Previous experience working with SEND children and young people in an educational setting (role not suitable for newly qualified professionals).
