Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of their facilities across three locations. This role involves ensuring the general maintenance, repair, and health and safety of their grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
  • Identify and report cosmetic or structural repairs that may require external contractors and manage this from start to finish
  • Carry out routine checks on the facility’s infrastructure, ensuring everything is functional.
  • Maintain operational emergency systems, such as fire alarms and emergency lighting.
  • Address maintenance requests promptly, focusing on safety and minimal disruption.
  • Carry out carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the Grounds Team to meet their needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper hazardous material storage and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
  • Act as a key holder.
  • Work closely with administrative staff and healthcare teams to ensure maintenance does not disrupt operations
  • Provide support during facility renovations and upgrades.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
  • Understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with effective communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and working in varying weather conditions.
